Beautiful design is useless if it doesn’t fit the criteria of the human body or experience. When approaching my projects, I always put myself in the users’ shoes as a method of conveying the most organic experience. Through my psychology minor, I have also been able to apply knowledge on perception, environmental interactions, and social interactions to justify elements of design throughout the process. The College of Human Ecology places emphasis on bettering the human life, and DEA teaches me how to do so through placing the people at the core when practicing design.
